Here's how we process and post all of our vintage action figures

Step 1: We go over each figure and accessory and determine its country of origin, and specific variation.

Step 2: We check all blasters, belts, cloaks, staffs, canes, wands, and batons for authenticity and condition. If the accessory is something special, we’ll denote it as so.

Step 3: We photograph everything under super bright light with high-quality cameras and lenses. We provide photos of this quality because we want you to feel confident knowing you can see everything clearly despite not being able to hold it in your hands.

Step 4: We process each piece and protect each figure in a thick 4mil baggie, that puts the figure in a sort of stasis when combined with an individual clamshell package. Each accessory is bagged separately and included in the clamshell.

Step 5: During this process we evaluate the figure and accessories and assign it a ‘Quality Label’

Our Quality Labeling

We are NOT professional graders. We strive to be as transparent as possible when describing and selling our products. Yes, we are sometimes prone to hyperbole, but we want you to be exceedingly happy when you receive your toy, so we take a critical eye to every toy we sell.

Here's how we break down the Quality Label that we apply to the loose and carded figures:

This is perfection, which is unattainable. Saved only for the very best, don’t expect to see it used here often if ever.

This item is as near perfection as we’ve seen. It checks all the boxes in multiple categories. Whether it’s paint and joint tightness on a loose figure, or quality of a bubble and card on a ‘mint-on-card’ (MOC). This is an item that we would expect to grade well.

Of the highest quality, but includes some very small flaws. This might be a paint rub on a loose figure, or some slight edge wear on a carded figure. We would still expect this to grade well.

These figures still look near flawless at first look, but there may be multiple items that keep the quality score down. This could be multiple paint rubs, slightly yellowing bubble, or slight creasing in a card.

These figures will present well despite a few issues. It could be slightly loose limbs, minor discoloration, a dented bubble, edge damage on a card. Not bad, just not the best.

You’ll find some flaws, but overall the figure still doesn’t look too bad. Lightly worn might be a better description. This may include multiple facets of issues on a card or bubble. A gently played with figure but far from pristine.

This is the last stop before being labeled a “beater”. Figures at this level will have seen quite a bit of play. Paint rubs on multiples sides. Worn spots on heads. Heavy yellow bubbles on cards and some damage to the card.

These are the well loved figures that actually saw a lot of play. Just think of the missions and battles that these little guys must have been through! They’re battle weary, worn, and sometimes loose. They’re just looking for a good home and will be priced as such.
